Marley SolarTile® has become one of the first products on the UK market to carry the CCPI mark, helping to provide assurance to product users that the information provided by Marley for these products is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous. We also hold CCPI Product Certification for our JB Red Battens.
Marley SolarTile® alone offers exceptional wind and fire resistance, but when combined with the complete Marley Roof System, the security of a roof that works to keep the weather out, also works to generate power for the home.
Fixed directly onto the battens to replace a section of roof tiles or slates means a completely flush fit can be achieved, to provide a sleek, unobtrusive roof finish.
What's more, with no space behind the panels for birds to nest, Marley SolarTile® remains a very low maintenance, high performance solar solution.
For new roofs or extensions to existing buildings, regulations require that all tiles are fixed with nails or clips. Roof integrated solar panels, like Marley SolarTile®, can be installed easily in a new roof application. The solar panels and flashings can be fitted to the roof first and then the roof covering can be fixed around them.
Larger than Marley’s 335Wp panel, the new 410 Solar Photovoltaic Panel delivers a peak power of 410Wp to increase total power from a roof area, whilst allowing for the installation of fewer solar panels to achieve the desired power output.

The solar panels and flashings can be fitted to the roof first and then the roof covering fixed around them. Integrated solar panels are also easy to install as a retrofit option. Simply remove the necessary section of roof tiles or slates, and replace with the solar panels. All that is left is to retile up to the flashings for a fully roof integrated solution. Take a look at our Solar PV installation video.
If you're working on an irregular solar panel configuration, we have a number of installation videos corresponding to the correct flashing kits required for each corner. Simply click the button here and select the video which matches your solar specification.
For every five solar panels sold as part of the Marley Group, we support the planting of a tree through charitable organisations across the world.
Known as the #FusionForest, this collaborative approach supports the long term rehabilitation of natural ecosystems by teaming up with organisations with local expertise.
